Visa Evidencing - Guangzhou Visa Office

Visa Evidencing by Mail
You can send your passport by mail to have your visa label evidenced in your passport. This office takes 2 working days to evidence visas when the passport is received by mail. Please allow two working days, plus mailing time, for your passport to be returned.
You should post your passport to the following address:

You should include:
• Your passport
• The letter advising of the visa grant
• Your address written in Chinese characters
• Your contact telephone number
Passports will be returned by EMS and the receiver will be charged on delivery.
The cost of delivery is between RMB16 and RMB20 depending on the distance
from Guangzhou.
Visa Evidencing In-Person
We have an on-the-spot service visa evidencing service however some clients may not be able to collect their passports on the same day. If you have been granted a parent visa (subclass 103), a contributory parent visa (subclass 143) or a business skills visa (subclass 160-165) please allow four days following the date of visa approval prior to presenting to the consulate for the visa label to be evidenced in your passport.
If you need the Guangzhou Visa Office to evidence a visa label in your passport, you should attend at the address below:

You can attend the Guangzhou Visa Office between 10:00am and 11:00am Monday to Friday inclusive for the visa evidencing service. This service is not available at other times.
You should bring your passport and the letter advising of your visa grant.
If you have authorised someone else to present your passport for the visa evidencing service, they need to bring:
• Your passport
• The letter advising of your visa grant
• A letter signed by you authorising them to collect the visa
• Their own photographic identification
Please note that failure to present the above information may result in delays to the visa evidencing process.
Visa Re-evidencing Due to Lost or Re-issued Passport
If you have lost your passport and wish to have your visa evidenced into a new passport, please present your new passport, a police report, and/or a copy of the newspaper advertisement stating that your old passport has been lost, and fill in the form below:
