Visa Evidencing by Mail

You can send your passport by mail to have your visa label stuck in. This office takes 2 working days to evidence visas when the request is received by mail. Please allow for two working days, plus mailing time.

You should post it to the the following address:

You should include:

• Your passport
• The letter advising of the visa grant
• Your address written in Chinese characters
• Your contact telephone number
• A copy of a postal order for 23RMB, fee for returning your passport by EMS and a completed EMS waybill. If you do not include evidence of having paid 23RMB by postal order, your passport will be returned to you by registered post only.

Visa Evidencing In-Person

The Guangzhou Visa Office offers same-time evidencing, so there is no waiting, and no need to come back later.

If you need the Guangzhou Visa Office to stick a visa label in your passport, you must attend at the address below:

You must attend between 3pm- 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for this service (please note that there is no visa evidencing service on Wednesday afternoons). This service is not available at other times. You must not come between 8.30-12.00, or you will be required to come back at 3pm to collect your passport.

You should bring your passport and the letter advising of your visa grant

If you are sending someone else to obtain evidence of your visa, they need to bring:

• Your passport
• The letter advising of your visa grant 
• A letter from you authorising them to collect the visa
• Their own photographic identification

Visa Re-evidencing Due to Lost or Re-issued Passport

If you have lost your passport and wish to have your visa re-evidenced into a new passport, please present your new passport, police report, and/or a copy of the newspaper advertisement stating that your passport has been lost, and fill in the form below:
