General Requirements
We encourage applicants to lodge complete applications, which include all required documents, as this allows us to process these applications more quickly. Please use one of the following checklists, to assist you in preparing your application, and attach the checklist to the top of your application.
Business (Short Stay) visa checklist - for First Visits to Australia
• For applicants planning a first visit to Australia, or who have not travelled to Australia in the last 5 years, or have visited as part of an ADS tour group.
Business (Short Stay) visa checklist - for Repeat Visits to Australia
• For applicants who have previously visited Australia as an independent traveller in the last 5 years.
We may request that you provide further information or documents, or undertake a medical examination and/or chest x-ray during the processing of your application. Please refer to the Health Requirements page for more information.
Please be aware that we may conduct a range of checks to verify the documents or information you have provided. Applications containing false or misleading information are likely to be refused.
Presenting Your Documents
Please assist us to process your application as efficiently as possible. To facilitate quick registration, please remove any staples, binders, bulldog clips, paper clips, folders, plastic pockets and "post-it notes".
