Introduction
The Study Tour arrangements are designed to provide for the specialised processsing of visa applications for organised school groups to visit Australia. If you are joining or organising a study tour group to Australia, please take note of the following additional information.
Where to Apply
From 1 July 2009, applicants living in the Beijing municipality, Tianjin municipality or Hebei province should apply at the Australian Embassy in Beijing.
Applicants living in the following provinces should apply at the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai:
• Shanghai, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet.
Applicants living in the following provinces should apply at the Australian Consulate General in Guangzhou:
• Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Hainan.
Processing Times
Application processing time is 5 working days if all of the above information has been provided at time of lodgement (excluding students required to undergo medical examinations). If the correct documentation is not included at the time of lodgement, 5 working days will not commence until all documentation has been provided.
