Skilled Migration Visa Evidencing
Once the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre (ASPC) is satisfied that an applicant is likely to be approved, a letter will be sent to the applicant or the applicant’s designated agent, requesting them to nominate which DIAC overseas office they would like to have their visa evidenced in.
When the ASPC receives notification from the applicant or applicant’s agent regarding this information, the application details will be sent to the nominated DIAC overseas office. The applicant may then bring their passport in person or send their passport by mail, to the nominated office, together with a copy of the grant letter from the ASPC.
The nominated DIAC overseas office will then need to wait for the application details to be sent from the ASPC so that the visa can be evidenced. This process can take up to 5 working days.
The applicant can nominate to collect their passport and visa in person, or have it returned to them by mail. If the applicant requires the passport to be returned by mail, they should provide their mailing address in Chinese characters.
