Business Skills Visa Evidencing
Once the DIAC Hong Kong office is satisfied that an applicant is likely to be approved, a letter will be sent to the applicant or the applicant’s designated agent, requesting them to nominate which DIAC office they would like to have their visa evidenced in.
When the DIAC Hong Kong office receives this notification, the application details will be sent to the nominated DIAC office overseas. The applicant may then bring in person or send their passport to the nominated office, together with a copy of the grant letter from the DIAC Hong Kong office.
The DIAC office will then need to wait for the application details to be sent from the DIAC Hong Kong office so that the visa can be evidenced. This process can take up to 5 working days.
The applicant can nominate to collect their passport and visa in person, or have it returned to them by mail. If the applicant requires the passport to be returned by mail, they should provide their mailing address in Chinese characters.
