Job Title: e-Commerce Program Manager (电子商务项目经理)
Job Location: Beijing or Shanghai or Guangzhou

Austrade has an excellent job opportunity to work as an e-Commerce Program Manager.
This new position will assist Australian small and medium size companies to win their first online sale in China by leveraging knowledge and relationships in the e-commerce sector.
This position can be based either in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou depending on the candidate’s current location

Duties:
• Work with senior management to formulate and implement strategic initiatives to assist Australian exporters sell their products and services online in China through established channels.
• Manage and deliver regular online events, including national sales promotions and educational webinars
• Research, track and report developments in China’s e-commerce operating environment and provide practical advice to Australian consumer product companies (packaged food, wine, fashion and lifestyle goods).
• Liaise with major e-commerce platforms and government agencies in China to facilitate the introduction of new Australian brands and products.
• Actively apply Austrade business practices and maintain accuracy of information in all Austrade Business Systems to deliver accurate and timely reporting and effective relationship management
• Contribute to knowledge creation within Austrade, by adopting information practices, sharing knowledge and information and by embracing best practice and development opportunities.
• Work collaboratively within the Austrade network to contribute to service delivery and achieve desired outcomes, while upholding the APS Values and Code of Conduct and work health & safety principles

Selection Criteria:
1. Highly developed oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with an ability to represent Austrade at an appropriate level within the public and private sector, including the ability to liaise effectively across a wide range of stakeholders.
2. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in e-commerce, business development or international marketing, preferably with background in online retail. Experience managing projects and events is essential.
3. Strong understanding of the capabilities and operating environment of the Australian manufacturing sector, particularly food, beverage, fashion, technology and consumer goods.
4. Ability to be outcome focused and an innovative problem solver with sound judgment.
5. Good organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and manage a range of priorities to meet competing deadlines.
Proven ability to work as part of a team across different industry teams and multiple locations in a performance driven culture.
